Survey Features

At Total Geomatics, we provide accurate measured building surveys to capture the exact dimensions and features of your property. These surveys are ideal for renovation, extension, refurbishment, or planning purposes.

Using Leica survey equipment, we record both external and internal details, including:

Walls, doors, and windows
Floor levels and ceiling heights
Stairs and architectural features
Structural elements (where visible)
Internal and external roof plans
Elevations of buildings on as as well as neighbouring buildings
Street Scene Elevations
Sections
Reflective ceiling plans

Survey outputs are supplied in digital formats such as DWG and PDF, and can include 2D plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and 3D point clouds. Hard copies are available on request.

Survey Process

All our measured building surveys are carried out using a combination of Leica GNSS, total station, and 3D laser scanning, allowing us to capture every part of a building or site with exceptional accuracy and detail. This approach ensures that both visible and hard to reach areas, from roof structures to internal architectural features—are recorded reliably. By combining multiple survey technologies, we can produce comprehensive 2D and 3D data, including plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and reflective ceiling plans. The result is a high-quality, fully detailed record that architects, engineers, and designers can trust for planning, renovation, or development purposes.

Deliverables

All survey data is processed and CAD work is carried out in-house by our team of trained CAD technicians, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a quick turnaround.

We provide all drawings by email in digital format, usually in .DWG and .PDF formats, however other formats can be provided.

Hard copy drawings can be supplied for an additional fee if required.
